Stemming from the Chinese tradition, the name of the community, Milky Way Gulf Garden, implies conspicuous residence according to the configuration of the stars.

Chinese saying has it that “no water, no garden,” indicating that water adds to the vitality of gardens. Known for its hilly terrain, the eastern suburbs of Nanjing is relatively lacking in waters.
